Post-Jussi Summer Detox?

Kasi pystyyn kuinka monella tuli viikonlopun aikana syotya kuin jouluna? Ei hataa, huomenna on taas maanantai ja hyva aloittaa pieni Post-Jussi Kesa Detox ๐Ÿ™‚ 

Jos et sentaan ihan aaripaahan, eli mehukuurille halua, niin keventava Post-Jussi Kesa Detox on oiva ratkaisu mm. vahentamaan turvotusta, jota varmasti kertyi viikonlopun aikana itse kullekin. Detoxin pituuden voi kukin maaritella oman fiiliksen mukaan aina yhdesta kymmeneen paivaan (tai miksei kauemminkin!). Ruokavalion lisaksi; nuku hyvin, liiku saannollisesti, valta stressia, hymyile, jooga ja venyttele ๐Ÿ™‚  

Mutta mita sitten syoda detoxin aikana…

What to eat?

-Lots of veggies (especially greens! Vegetables thought to be particularly good detox foods include broccoli, cauliflower, broccoli sprouts, onions, garlic, artichokes, beets, and dark leafy greens such as kale, collard greens, and swiss chard)
– Avocados
– Fruits (avoid dried ones!) 
– Berries
– Nuts & Seeds (raw and unsalted) ex. pumpkin, chia, sunflower, almonds, cashews…
– Whole Grains (brown rice, quinoa)
– Good Oils (Olive oil, coconut oil, hemp oil…)

+ Drink lots of water 

In moderation:

– Salt/ herbs
– Raw honey/Stevia
– Goat cheese
– Pesto
– Tahini
– Lean meat ex. organic chicken
– Fish

And what to avoid?

– Coffee (Caffeine)
– Alcohol 
– Soda
– Sugar + artificial sweeteners
– Wheat
– Dairy
– Red meat
– All processed foods + ready meals


                                          Post-Jussi Smoothie ๐Ÿ™‚

                                                                                            1 Banana
                                                                                           1/2 Mango
                                                                                  Handful of Spinach
                                                                                           1/2 Lemon
                                                                                           Fresh Mint
                                                                                  1 tbsp of Aloe Vera
                                                                           pinch of Himalayan salt
                                                                                               Water

                                                                            Blend all together & Enjoy ๐Ÿ™‚
